Looking for a job is hard
This note is from CoolMind's founder.
We want to help a younger generation find work, because we think looking for a job is really hard.
Anyone who has been through it knows how much a single application takes. You find the posting, read the description, create an account on yet another company's site, then type the same experience, field by field, into yet another form. At the end of the day the hours are gone, and very few of them were yours.
And time is limited. Preparing for interviews, learning something new, doing good work on what's in front of you, or simply resting and spending time with the people around you: all of it takes time, and all of it is worth more than filling in the same form one more time.
So we felt there had to be a platform like this, one that takes the repetitive part off your hands so you can spend your time on things that matter more.
What CoolMind does for you
You upload your résumé and tell us what kind of work you're looking for. CoolMind finds jobs that fit your preferences, scores each one, and then fills in and submits the English application for you on the employer's own site.
We also want you to feel at ease with it:
- You choose how it runs. On I'll review, nothing is sent until you say yes. On Full auto, only jobs that clear the minimum match score you set go out. Either way, you can pause sending with one click whenever you like.
- You can see what was sent. Every application that goes in has an Application receipt and, by default, a screenshot of the confirmation page and a recording of the application.
- A credit is used only for an application the employer confirmed. One that didn't go through uses none.
We don't promise interviews, and we will never make up experience for you. What we can do is handle the time-consuming part with care, and put every step of it in front of you.
One last thing
Much of a job search is a road you walk on your own. We hope CoolMind can walk part of it with you, and take some of the repetitive work off your shoulders.
If you're looking for work too, you're welcome to start by uploading your résumé. And if you have thoughts for us, we'd love to hear them on the feedback page.
