Pay only for applications that go through
A credit is used only when the employer confirms your application; if it fails or never goes out, you pay nothing. Credits come in one-time packs, not a subscription.
How you pay
Pay per confirmed application
Each application the employer confirms (on its confirmation page or in a confirmation email) uses 1 credit. A failed, unsent or stopped application uses none.
Free credits to try
New accounts get 5 free credits: enough for 5 applications the employer confirms.

Questions about paying
What counts as a confirmed application?
One the employer confirms they received: their site showed a confirmation page after we submitted it, or they sent a confirmation email. Your applications list says which, with the proof.
What if an application fails?
You pay nothing. The application being sent holds 1 credit while it's in progress; if it fails, isn't sent or you stop it, the credit goes back to your balance.
Can I get a refund?
Credits you buy aren't refunded. If something isn't right, or you think you were charged by mistake, write to [email protected] and we'll look at it ourselves; where the law gives you a right to a refund, we honor it.
Is the daily allowance the same as credits?
No. The daily allowance is how many jobs we score and applications we send for you each day; it comes back by itself at midnight US Pacific time and is never bought. Credits are used only by confirmed applications; when they run out, applying pauses until you have more. How CoolMind works has the numbers.
